Katelyn Mintzer, Sports Editor
I’m Katelyn Mintzer, a student at McPherson High school, and I participate in the yearbook/Journalism. This is my last year being a part of the yearbook/Journalism class, this will be my 4th year. Writing just speaks to me in a way nobody else can. When I write it takes all my stress away, it’s something I look forward to every day. When I first started taking this class I knew right then that I was a natural and that Journalism is truly meant for me. After high school, I plan on going to college at UMKC for Journalism and hopefully pursue my career by moving to a big city so I can write for huge newspaper companies and only move up from there. My advice for the younger classmates is, don’t worry about what other people think, everyone is going to talk, everyone is going to look, stop revolving your life around people who won’t be in your life after high school, and start worrying about having a good time. High school flew by for me and now I wish I could go back and change how I lived my life all of high school.
