Senior Parking Space

The every year tradition of senior parking spaces is here again, the total cost for a parking space is $50 and $25 to paint and decorate your parking space. The money goes to a fund for senior activities such as Senior Breakfast, Project Graduation and Graduation. Savannah Brooks says, “I think it’s a great opportunity for Juniors to take.”

There are only 50 parking spaces, 30 in the west lot and 20 in the south lot, so hurry and get one while there are still spaces left. Danielle Renee said “I’m not choosing to purchase a parking space because I want to park in the back so nothing happens to my car.” There isn’t a deadline to get a space until all of the parking spaces are taken. To get started you have to fill out a form, have your design completed for your parking space and give to Ms. Shook for her approval.

Many people like to get reserved parking spots with their own little designs. To be accepted for a parking spot, you have to provide a drawing of any kind, express creativity, your personality, and who you are, as long as it does not have references to anything inappropriate, drugs, alcohol, smoking, gangs. You have to supply yourself with your own painting supplies, and the design has to be 4×8.
