Have you been waiting for a new restaurant to open up in the town of McPherson?  Recently a new place called “Ristorante Italiano di Famiglia”, an italian restaurant, has opened at 204 N Main street.  This classy new restaurant replaced Delish, another food company that opened only seven months ago.  Delish offered breakfast and lunch on weekdays and dinner Thursday and Friday evenings.

Diana Griffs is the new owner of this italian restaurant, the previous owner of an italian restaurant in Newton.  She has said that it has been a dream of hers for years to start an italian restaurant and now she has. They are closed on Mondays however they are open 11am-9pm Tuesdays through Saturdays and 11am-3pm on Sundays.  The restaurant space is very inviting and right as you walk in you are greeted by an employee at a table that will direct you to your table.

Speaking to someone who ate lunch at the restaurant recently, she said: “I was impressed with the new italian restaurant in downtown McPherson.   The servers were attentive and friendly and the food was good and reasonable in price.  My only complaint was the noise level making it difficult to have a normal conversation.  However,  I would recommend that you try this pleasant addition to McPherson.”

The restaurant has a variety of appetizers such as Caprese Salad, Calamari, Mozzarella Sticks, and Sliced Italian Sausage.  Some of their entrees include Chicken Fettuccine alfredo, Chicken Diablo, Tortellini pasta, Delizioso, and more. The menu also includes many seafood dishes and enjoyable deserts such as variety of Cheesecakes, Tiramisu, Cannoli, Spumoni Ice Cream and more.  Next time you are on Main Street look for this new restaurant next to the BookShelf and enjoy some original italian food.
