Thankful Thoughts.

As the season’s change and we shed what was left of our summer skin, our student body takes time to look back and be thankful. Several McPherson High School students reflect what they feel thankful for as Thanksgiving season approaches.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to live in various cultures and the people who have come along for the ride in this crazy adventure that is life,” senior Kento Aizawa said.

Other students take time to look back on the people who’ve led them to be who they are today.

“I’m thankful for my friends,” junior Thomas Smith said. “I know they’ll always be there for me and at the end of the day and that’s all that matters.”

The month also makes us remember the family that has been with us since the very beginning.

“I’m thankful for my mom,” senior Abby Denshaw said. “She’s a really hard worker and does everything for everybody else.”

As McPherson High School students grow older, it becomes easier and easier to feel the support from many of the people around you.

“I am thankful for all the people that help me get through my life like my parents, friends and coaches,” sophomore Maisie Edmondson said.

The support and love from friends and family is ever apparent during the holiday season.

“I’m thankful for the people around me who support me, my family and friends are always there for me,” sophomore Carson Stone said. “If I ever need help I can always turn to someone in one of those groups.”

This season The McPherson High School Newspaper encourages everyone to reach out and thank everyone who has helped them this year.
