The stands at McPherson College Stadium on Friday, Oct. 24, were packed as the McPherson community came together in honor of Class 2025 for Senior Night.
The night celebrated the dedication and accomplishments of seniors involved in football, volleyball, band, cheer, high steppers, cross-country, girls’ golf, girls’ tennis, and color guard.
All were recognized for their hard work and leadership throughout their high school careers.
Each student was announced and escorted across the field with their parents, receiving loud cheers from the fans who filled the stadium in support.
The marching band, high steppers, cheerleaders, and color guards added so much spirit and energy to the field.
Alexis Gaticia, who is a senior on the cheer team, said, “Being a part of this team has helped me have confidence and also shown me the value of hard work and trust in friendship.”
For the football team, it was a night to remember under the Friday night lights. The Bullpups faced off against Buhler, winning 21-15. That win meant so much to so many people.
For many seniors, the walk across the field represented the countless early mornings, along practices, and memories made with teammates and friends.
Many of these athletes have played together for years, creating bonds that go beyond practices.
Their seasons have been filled with determination, growth, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
