The Notebook is a fantastic romantic movie to watch if you’ve just gone through a breakup or just to watch. In the beginning it all started with a man going to read to a woman. It’s a story about a summer romance between Allie Hamilton (Rachel McAdams) and Noah Calhoun (Ryan Gosling).

They had met at a festival and became deeply in love although they fight all the time. The Hamilton family then had to move and Noah and Allie left each other on weird terms. Noah obviously is very much in love through all of the 365 letters he had mailed to her that reached someone else’s hands and not Allies. It was up to Allie to do the right thing and go talk to Noah which they did, a lot, and not just talking.  Allie is engaged…not to Noah though.

Allie got engaged to Lon (Lon Hammond), but has yet to forget about Noah; she decides she has to see him one last time. After Allie goes back to talk to see Noah she has to decide which man she actually loves. Noah had said to Allie, “So it’s not gonna to be easy. It’s gonna to be really hard! We’re gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you. Forever. You and me…everyday.”

It’s now all up to Allie for what she wants and who she wants. This is a very surprising kind of movie. It makes you feel a lot of emotions as well. When Allie decides to go back and see Noah it will give you butterflies for what all is going to happen. I sure felt Allie and Noah’s connection throughout the movie; I sure hope you will too.
