McPherson High School Football

On October 20, 2017 the McPherson Football Team played up against Wamego High School at the McPherson College Football Stadium. To enter the game as a student you will either need an activities card or four dollars to enter. The game started at 7:00 p.m. and ended around 9:30 p.m. At the end of the night, McPherson Bullpups won 47-0.

“I thought that the game was pretty fun. The bullpups beat Wamego so that is always a plus. Our band performance was one of the best we’ve accomplished, but we still have some minor polishing to work on.” said Megan Grieb.

Taylor Verow attended the Football game on October 20. When asked what she thought about the game she said, “Oh, I loved it! I love all of the traditions.”

Even though it was cold at the game, the dancers and cheerleaders did a fantastic job doing their thing. The band was outstanding while on the bleachers and while on the field.

The next McPherson Football game is against Abilene on October 27th, at 7:00 p.m. in Abilene. Make sure to go visit and support your school.
