Summer is suppose to be a time to have fun and relax. Or so you thought. The children of a town in Maine were ready to dive into the happiness of no homework and fun when all of a sudden kids started to slowly disappear. The culprit behind this act was Pennywise, a clown looking for people to terrorize and scare to death has locked in on its target. This movie will keep you looking around the corner, second guessing what you really saw. This horror flick you will not be able to look away from the screen with absolute terror of what’s going to happen next. It will recreate your childhood fear of clowns and lure it to grow. Through dread and despair watch as this dysfunctional group of kids stick by each other to overpower their fear and fight what is against them.

This was originally released as a book in 1986 by Stephen King. Stephen King is well known for his petrifying stories and he is acclaimed as one of the best horror story writers. It also was created as a movie in 1990, and this is the 2017 remake. This was his twenty-second book overall and is over one thousand pages long. While there are of course a couple of differences between the book and movies, a lot of horror fans have been loving all of them. They can all agree that the actors did an amazing job bringing this trembling tale to life. Whether you watch it on the big screen or read it late at night, it will sure bring you some thrills you won’t be able to stop talking about. This movie/book contains some scenes/language that may be too horrifying for younger viewers causing it to be rated R, but is a great watch/read for horror fans anywhere.
