As the holiday season quickly approaches, many of us are starting to rush to make Christmas lists and start holiday shopping. While shopping for your loved ones, there are a few easy ways to be able to help families and people in need as well.

  • AmazonSmile – If you order any gifts from Amazon this year, consider using AmazonSmile. Through this program you can choose a charity of your choice that gets a .5% donation every time you buy an eligible item.
  • TOMS – Toms shoes donates money for every shoe you purchase. Your money goes to improved health, access to education and confidence building.
  • Skyline Socks – Skyline Socks sells athletic socks that show skylines of major cities on them. If you purchase a pair, another pair is donated to someone in need in the same city.
  • Better World Books – For every book you buy, one book is donated to Books for Africa or Feed the Children.
  • OAK – If you purchase an item of clothing or backpack from OAK, a homeless or at-risk youth is given a backpack.
  • Roma – For every pair of Roma boots that are purchased, another pair is filled with school supplies and donated to a child in need.
