Taylen Wall, Journalist
Sophomore Taylen Wall is a part of the MHS Journalism staff for the 2025-2026 school year. She participates in lots of activities here at McPherson High School. She takes part in cheerleading, track, KAY, HOSA, FCA, International Club, and FBLA. When not in school or sports, she loves spending time with friends and family, traveling, and shopping of course. “My favorite place I have traveled to was Nassau, Bahamas. The water was so clear and pretty!” Wall said. Her favorite season is summer and she loves Starbucks. She gets the Strawberry Acai Lemonade Refresher with light ice and no berries. She is excited to see what this school year brings and is ready to deliver news to the district.
Jocie McWilliams, Journalist
Jocie McWilliams is a 15-year-old freshman who is about both academics and athletics. She participates in volleyball and track, showing her dedication and teamwork on and off the field. Jocie is also involved in FCA, where she continues to grow in leadership and faith. Outside of school, she enjoys shopping, eating at Chipotle, and spending quality time with her family. Her favorite vacation destination is Mexico, where she loves relaxing by the beach. Known for her love of fall, Jocie’s go-to Starbucks order is a venti iced pumpkin chai.
Meg Cullinane, Journalist
Meg Cullinane is a freshman at MHS. She is involved in FCA, KAY club, and softball. After high school Meg plans on going to college to become a dentist. One of her favorite things to do is travel. Meg also enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite food is all kinds of pasta. Meg is looking forward to the new school year and the opportunities it will bring!
