McPherson, Kan. — Wendy’s Tendy’s, Wendy’s new line of chicken tenders, officially launched this year in October 2025, along with the release of the new “Wendy’s Tendy’s,” 6 new and improved sauces, including their signature Scorchin’ Hot, and Sweet Chili. These crispy, juicy Tendy’s are made with 100% white meat with a seasoned, crispy breading. The 6 available sauces include Wendy’s Signature, Scorchin’ Hot, Sweet Chili, Creamy Ranch, Honey BBQ, and Honey Mustard.
The Chicken Tenders are available as a core item, served in a new packaging design for dipping, with a little pocket to conveniently attach your sauce cups to the box to dip and enjoy. You can choose a 3-piece, 4-piece, or 2-piece meal, all served with two sauce cups or your choice.
My overall review was surprisingly good. In my experience with Wendy’s, almost every time they forget part of your order, this time everything was there. I ordered the #9, Wendy’s new chicken Tenders, fries, and your choice of drink. I personally got the Strawberry Lemonade.
The food came out fast, but I wouldn’t say “fresh.” The fries tasted like they had been sitting out for a while, but everything else was fine. The lemonade was sweet and savory with a good amount of strawberry.
Finally, for the main attraction, the chicken Tenders. The Chicken Tenders shocked me because usually you can tell where something came from food-wise, but these Tendys didn’t have that distinct Wendy’s taste, they tasted more official than most fast food chains in our city. Almost closer to Slim Chickens or Chick-fil-a.
In my opinion, it didn’t compare anywhere near in taste to Chick-fil-a, but it had a similar texture. I would give Wendy’s Tendy’s an overall 7 out of 10.
