We’ve all heard of the company Alani Nu (standing for Alani nutrition),and I thought it only right that I review the drinks, because of the obvious.
I took a poll in my class over the top Alani drinks, and I came back with sherbert swirl, cherry slush, witches brew, cheery slush, cotton candy, hawaiian shaved ice, and watermelon wave.
Out of the few flavors I picked to review, sherbert swirls and watermelon waves.
I tried the sherbert swirl first, and I cant say I was happy with the outcome.
At first I liked it,it tasted sweet, and had notes of orange and sweet vanilla marshmallow, but it was a little strong, and it made me sick.
I later found out that it was 10 days expired from Walmart. 4/10 because it was NOT a good experience.
The next flavor I tried was watermelon wave. I overall really liked this, watermelon wave has much less of a stronger taste, and tastes more like a juice and not like a strong burn of a drink.
I personally don’t like very strong drinks,so I think I would give this an 8/10, and it didn’t make me sick!!!
If you were to ask me if I’d recommend drinking an Alani I would probably tell you to drink at your own risk.
Alanis have 3x the energy most drinks like Bubblers and red bulls contain inside them at a whopping 200mg per drink.
Now for the technical, the company was founded in 2018 for the need to “specifically appeal to women” as congo brands stated.
30% to 50% of teens consume Alanis a day, but due to high caffeine, poison control calls have gone up at least 20% since 2023 because this is not meant to be consumed daily.
Alanis keep me energized all day and for the most part are a pretty good source of energy.
Whether that means cute packaging, good ingredients, or just pick me up, I would recommend Alanis to teens and women around the world also because of different varieties of flavor, and I support this brand but I see why problems are rising if people misuse the product.
[All of my information was found either from packaging, Google resources, and of course the Alani Nu website.]
