There are a lot of activities at the McPherson High school other than sports there’s five choirs Vita Voce ,Bell Canto,Men’s Choir,Woman Choir, and Mixed Ensemble. There are probably over 100 people in choir, my point being there are a lot of different things you can do in the McPherson High School other than sports because not everyone likes sports not saying sports is a bad thing to be in or do because a lot of people love doing sports. but other people like singing or debating.
Dawson Elliot is a student at the McPherson High School his favorite color is purple he looks up to his aunt he lives with his aunt and his uncle,his aunt is like a mom to him always there for him. Elliot has two close friends Gabriel Abud and Levi Moll. He has three siblings Rozalynn Foster, Collier Bean, and Kass Molgollen. Elliot has some input about his music career on why he writes music. What make you want to wright does it just come to your head or does something trigger it in your head then you write it down.
“Whenever I get the vibe or if I am feeling something,”said Elliot.
Some people use sports to distract themselves from the hard times. Some people use music. I don’t know one person that does not like listening to music. It’s on the radio, and there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of music apps you can get just for listening to music. If you walk the halls in any school there are so many people walking around with headphones in their ears for some people it calms them down, some other people use it to desecrate themselves from the hard times and some people just listen to music just for fun. What makes you want to write music is it because you need to get a feeling off your chest some people write music because they need to talk about things but they cant to anyone so they just put it in a song.
“The need to express myself when something happens or I feel a certain way,” said Elliot.
When people listen to music it is not always to just listen to it people use it to clear their head and forget about the hard times. You don’t always know what is going through someone’s head. They could have a smile on their face but you never know if they are actually okay inside. But Why does a person start to write music? Is it for fun or to clear there head.
“I usually write music when I need to get something off my chest. I mostly write as a coping skill, and decided to share it when I found people liked it,” said Elliot.
Dawson has two songs out the first one he ever put out on October 10 2025 it is called Dream song and its really good lyrically he is so talented and also his voice is soothing you could fall asleep to it. He has one more song out called Forever, he put it out November 19 2025. Its also so good he is going to go somewhere with this and his album is coming out soon there are so many people ready for it to come out. Dawson Elliot is going to blow up soon just watch it happen.
