This past Tuesday the Varsity girls basketball team played in Derby. Unfortunately they fell short with a final score of 46-32. They fought very hard and played a very hard game. Head coach, Chris Strathman said that “Our biggest part was strictly turnovers and not getting shots.” I asked Ava Romero (Freshman, who plays varsity) a few questions about the game including: How do you think the game went on Tuesday? “I played good, but I played better on JV.” Were you scared going into the game because it was so close? “Not really.” Do you think you guys will win this Friday? “Andover’s pretty good I think, but I hope so.” How are you liking the season so far on a scale of 1-10? “Probably like a 6 or 7.” The Lady Pups play Andover this Friday at 6:00 pm. Note that there will be no freshman game at 4, instead the JV game starts at 4. Come support your bullpups!
