All Or Nothing
The McPherson varsity volleyball team made it to the sub-state tournament with Pratt and Circle. They ended their regular season with a record of 20-15. The varsity team was not stacked with many upperclassmen this year. They had only 1 senior and 1 junior, however they were still very talented.
Their first game of the day, they played Pratt. They ended up losing to Pratt in 3 sets. First set (25-21) Second set (24-23) Third set (25-22). The bullpups played very hard, but were “outplayed by Pratt in the 2nd and 3rd set” says Coach Christy Doile. Addison Chapman and Cora Pavlovich, both sophomores, both had 8 kills on the day. Alex Romero, junior, and Ava Romero, freshman, lead the team with 11 digs for both of them. This season was Coach Christy Doile’s 16th winning record season. We are hoping the team will come back super strong next year and continue the winning record streak.
