After the release of her critically acclaimed and Grammy nominated album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, Starting Sept. 29th, 2024, Billie Eilish’s world tour HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, will begin in Quebec City, Canada.
Going on tour Eilish states, “I really think that I will love the whole album until I die.” Explaining how she thinks it topped all of the other things that she has created musically.
This is the first tour Eilish has gone on without her brother Finneas on the guitar, and her parents there supporting her. Many of her songs touch her fans in many different ways. Whether it’s about homelife, sexuality, or toxic relationships. Eilish’s songs from the album are, SKINNY, BIRDS OF A FEATHER, L’AMOUR DE MA VIE, LUNCH, WILDFLOWER, THE DINER, CHIHIRO, THE GREATEST, BITTERSUITE, and BLUE.
Madi Snook is a student at McPherson High School, she recently saw Eilish in Kansas City, MO. on tour. She explains the impact and the experience of seeing her live for the first time, she states “Seeing her (Eilish) in concert was probably the most surreal thing I’ve ever experienced.” Snook talks about how her vocals sounded in person saying “ Her vocals were absolutely unreal. They were so perfect and I’m glad I got to experience that in person.”
Eilish’s top 3 songs from the HIT ME HARD AND SOFT album are WILDFLOWER, BIRDS OF A FEATHER, and CHIHIRO. Snook says “The best song I saw was probably lunch, I love that song and she was very energetic when performing it.” While Snook was at the concert she explained how the “overall vibes were very positive at the concert and everyone had a great connection with one another.”
While Billie is on stage, she stays true to the title of her album, hitting fans hard and soft in all the right places.
