9/11 20 Years Ago

On September 11, 2001, 3,000 people were killed, and 400 were police officers and firefighters in a terrorist attack at The World Trade Center (Twin Towers) in New York City. 9/11 was not the first terrorist attack on The Twin Towers. 18 people were saved from the Twin Towers. In 2019, the senate of the US passed a bill making sure that a fund to compensate victims of the 9/11 attack never runs out of money; and that first responders won’t have to return to Congress to plead for more funding.
