Hallway or Highway?

When some wait for the bell to ring, we might feel anxiety or excitement about the thought of entering the treacherous McPherson High hallways. The thought of how you’re going to get to your next class expands in your brain. What route you might take, or who you need to avoid. Although you might be in a rush. Maybe considering you have a class is on the other half of the school. Which is why you would want to avoid slow walkers.

I like to think of the hallways as a Highway. One road for each direction, The people coming from a class on a right and the people going to the class on the left. But it never works out that way. Sometimes I see people coming towards me and the only thought I have in my mind is “why?” Why would you come across to other side and bother everyone around you. My personal opinion is that people should just stay in their own sides. Because then it avoids the problem of people cutting in front of you or stopping in the middle of halls.

Perhaps the school should invest in bigger halls. Which leads to a bigger picture. Are highways worse or better than the hallways? They seem to have a connection. Perhaps the hallways, though deceiving, is teaching us a bit about driving. With the same connections of poor quality and not enough room.  Preferably more people should be courteous, towards their peers and fellow “drivers”
