Halloween is Here!

Spooky season is here, folks! October is swiftly approaching and with it comes some people’s favorite holiday.

Halloween, or “All Hallows Eve” is a pagan tradition in which they dress up as hallows or ‘saints’ and go around door to door. Before 7th century CE, All hallows Eve fell on May 13, but it moved to autumn because of a pope by the name of Boniface IV.

The reason Halloween is on October 31 is because of the ancient Gaelic festival, ‘Samhain’ celebrated by Pagans.

Make sure to celebrate this ancient holiday by trick or treating, putting on costumes, and having a spooktacular time with your friends!
