A new Scooters Coffee Drive-Thru has recently opened on the 8th of December in the Genesis Health Club parking lot. Scooters serves a variety of drinks such as lattes, smoothies, and even food items like breakfast burritos and cinnamon rolls. This popular coffee shop has attracted many people, such as students at MHS and people on their way to work. On Mondays through Saturdays Scooters is open from 6am to 7pm and on Sundays they are open 7am to 7pm.

When visiting the Scooters in McPherson I ordered the Sugar Cookie Latte for $5.50. While it was a little pricey, the drink did not disappoint and I would definitely get it again. Many of the employees that work at Scooters go to the McPherson High School and they were all very customer friendly when ordering.

Junior, Riley Higgins said, “Every time I go to Scooters, which is once or twice a week, I get the Red Bull Infusion and it´s super good! They have a variety of things other coffee shops in town don’t have but they are a little expensive.”

In my opinion, Scooters is a great addition to McPherson and I don’t see it leaving anytime soon. Many students and adults have expressed how much they love going there and I think I am now able to say the same. If you have any free time and love coffee or sweet drinks and snacks in general, you should give Scooters a try.
