On September 4, 2018, McPherson’s jv girls tennis was cancelled due to some unfortunate weather, luckily coaches were able to reschedule for September 19, 2018. Many of the girls were lucky enough to finish a full match, others however were not.Other than the half a match that had to be completed the meet moved on quickly and with ease. By rescheduling the meet some players were able to continue right where they left off as opposed to starting all over, but they did get a new day to play which was fortunate for those who may have been having a bad day before the reschedule.  Senior Caitlin Faulk unfortunately had a bloody nose during her first match on the 4th and was unable to finish until the rescheduled day.

McPherson earned first place as a team and had several other girls place third and above. Sophomore Jacie Myers and first year player, senior, Mary Ann Wurm were placed together to play doubles and earned first.

“As a senior I was really happy that the meet was rescheduled, because these are my last meets to play competitively in with this team,” said Caitlin Faulk, senior.
