October Weather

Last year the weather at this time was about the same; really all over the place.  It was 73 on Monday, 80 on Tuesday, 59 on Wednesday, 61 on Thursday, 77 on Friday, 82 on Saturday and 90 on Sunday.  This year it’s been around the same; Monday was about 64 and Friday is supposed to get up to 71, with Tuesday being the lowest at 57.

Global warming has affected us already and still is by throwing all of the hurricanes at us.  The extra heat in the air causes more energy, therefore making more storms which run off of that energy.  We are experiencing higher winds within these destructive storms that do last longer because of the temperatures of the water.

Global warming shows that temperatures are supposed to keep rising in the future.  Precipitation is shown to increase in the Northern United States, but decrease in the Southwest over the time of this century.  They are predicting more droughts as well as heat waves to occur, and less cold waves around.  Studies also show that the number of tropical storms may actually start to decrease over more time.
