The MHS Hi-Steppers team has kicked off their 2017 season with a brand new dance at the Fall sports preview.

On September 1st, the MHS Hi-Stepper team was on KWCH 12 news live. They interviewed Kelsey Wilson, one of the team captains about what’s one key thing about dance and you can watch that interview at www.kwch.com/content/news/Catch-it-Kansas-High-school-football-is-back-442459883.html.  The Hi-Stepper team danced one of their new routines to “Bang, Bang” by Ariana Grande, live on the news after they interviewed Kelcey Wilson. Breanna Schnelle, freshman, said, “It was very nervous and scary because it was our first time but, we all thought it was a great opportunity.”

If you guys are interested to becoming a Hi-Stepper you can try out next year!  Maybe you might get a chance to dance on live television too. Keep an eye out if you would like to try out next year.  The Hi-Steppers perform at every home football and basketball game.  So, if you want a chance to go see them dance go to the next home football game.  When you go you won’t be disappointed by their great routines and dance moves. @MHSHiStepper
