On a beautiful island of Motunui lived a girl named Moana. A powerful and adventurous polynesian spirit who goes on a purposeful journey for the sake of her people. Along the way she meets a Demigod named Maui, and together they sail the ocean as she fights for the ancient secrets of her ancestors. Along the way she reveals something she’s been longing for her whole life. This movie is diverse compared to other disney princess films because she doesn’t fall in love with a male character. This film highlights the fact that you don’t need someone to depend on as long as you beleieve in yourself and try your hardest to persevere even when times are tough.
