Solar Eclipse: Excitement or Disappointment?

The American solar eclipse took place August 21, 2017, an event where some were either anxious and excited, or others who were less than impressed and went on about their day. While many enjoyed this phenomenon, due to it only happening every once in a blue moon, there were several who could care less.

For instance schools around McPherson Kansas went out during its peak and took in the view, with appropriate eye wear of course, even those who weren’t all that interested joined the crowd to see what all the fuss was about.

In my opinion I thought the eclipse was interesting and exciting, but if I had to I could’ve lived without seeing it. There have been several other events that I have missed and been just fine with that, such as the “green moon.”

For some people they put things like this in their calendar and wait anxiously until that day comes. While others continue on, sometimes without even realizing what they missed.
