The boys soccer team will be competing against Hays on September 3rd of 2015. After playing them last year and battling it out until that final whistle the score ending up being 1-1. Low score and an even score; that means it was a game that you would not have wanted to miss. Andric McGill, midfielder for our varsity soccer team was interviewed for this article.

“We have a lot of speed and we play a 4-3-3 so our midfield attacks and we have our three forwards attacking as well,” junior McGill said.

McGill is hoping to make it back to the final four and improve every game this season. The McPherson soccer boys will be competing against Hays twice this season.

Jeremy Krehbiel, also a midfielder, said that last year the team took Hays for granted so he is hoping that the team will treat this match like it should be; a challenge that should be taken with passion.

The bullpups won against Mulvane on the 1st of September. The final score was 10-0! Krehbiel is looking to play some college soccer once this school year comes to an end.

“I’m looking at Newman, Bethel, and Benedictine”, said Krehbiel. Krehbiel was also asked what the team needs to improve on. He said, “We need to keep our composer better and not let small mistakes get to us as bad as they do.”
