Starting March 25th the girls’ Varsity Soccer team is hosting the 18th Annual McPherson Invitational girls’ Soccer tournament. This event brings teams together from near and far, showcasing the talent, teamwork, and determination that define the sport of soccer.
As the tournament kicks off eight strong teams show off their different strengths and strategies to cover the field for one common goal; to get the gold medal. We have Maize South, Wichita Collegiate, Valley Center, Newton, and McPherson which have the advantage of home crowd support. Followed up with Salina South, Hays, and lastly Topeka. With such diverse teams, this tournament provides different exciting games and showcases the talents and skills of the teams. Each game is a new challenge to bounce back from setbacks, work harder, and keep pushing forward.
Off the field, the impact of a strong support network is unbelievable. The stands are filled with family, friends, and fans to cheer on the teams. Dont forget to show out to the field tonight at 7 pm. Your presence and support at the games will mean the world to the team as they take the field against Topeka High.
