Halloween is right around the corner. So I found a zombie-themed dessert to try and here is my honest review.

The recipe I found was a zombie rice crispy treat recipe. The recipe overall was super easy and fun. This dessert would be a great way to spend time with your friends and family.

I got all the ingredients at our local Walmart. All the ingredients together cost $16.50. However, prices may vary depending on what store you go to and where you live.

The making of the rice crispy treats was really simple. I decided to change the pan that I put the rice crispy treats in. The recipe called for a 9×13, but I used a 9×9.

I did this because the rice crispy treats would be thicker. If you did them in a 9×13, I believe that they would break too easily. But if you opted to put them in a 9×13, I would recommend chilling them before decorating.

My favorite part of this recipe was decorating the rice crispy treats. The recipe gives you decorating ideas for a zombie. You could also easily alter them to be ghosts or pumpkins!

The recipe says it takes one hour and twenty-five minutes to make them; This does include the hour that is recommended for you to chill before you decorate.

However, it took me about 20 minutes to make the rice crispy treats and another 30 minutes to decorate. Time will vary based on your attention to detail.
