Earlier this month, the girls tennis team went to the Class 4A State Tournament in Winfield. This would be their first state title since 2013.

Riggs Kuhn (23-4) defeated Taylor Berger (14-7) in singles, meanwhile Patty Huerta and Perrin Schneider

(27-5) had defeated Maddie Dobson and Sydney Achilles (13-2) for doubles.

In September, they won every match at their meet, meaning they scored a maximum of 12 points total. Riggs Kuhn and Taylor Berger played No. 1 and 2 in singles games, and Patty Huerta and Perrin Schneider played No. 1 for doubles. Maddie Dobson and Sydney Achilles played No. 2 for doubles.

The JV team was third place in the Newton Invitational. Courtney Delaney won her match 3-0 for first, No. 2 single, and at No. 1 Loghan Englebrecht scored 2-1 for fifth. For doubles, Eve Hanschu and Ceshele Love scored 2-1 for third at No. 2, and Raina Schmidt and Mercedes Ladwig were 0-2 for sixth at No. 1.
