President Trump authorized the air strike that killed Soleimani. Iran and it’s citizens took this attack very seriously as Soleimani is one of the most powerful figures in the country. This whole tension between the countries started the idea of World War Three. A similar situation started World War One, causing more American Citizens to be on nerve.
Are we going to War with Iran? As of right now, no, we are not going to war though Trump has pushed the two countries to the brink of war. Though some of the news has died down, the doomsday clock moves 100 seconds to midnight.
While the whole dispute between the countries was occurring, teenagers on social media apps were making a joke of the situation with various memes and comedy videos. With the amusing content still constantly uploading, teens and young adults are involved with politics more than ever.
