About 108 major movies came out in 2019 or have been announced to release in 2019. So say it is movie night at home or you really want to go see a movie with your friends at your local theater. There’s so many options so here’s some of the best movies of all different types for your viewing experience. According to Box Office Mojo the top three highest selling movies of 2019 so far were “Avengers: Endgame”, “The Lion King”, and “Toy Story 4”.

The highest of the three movies, “Avengers: Endgame” sales rose quickly above the competitors and has gained over 2 billion in overall sales. This movie has a great story but you should already be familiar with the other MCU movies before you watch it, or at least the previous Avengers movies.

If you are going for something more kid friendly or just nostalgic, you would probably like “The Lion King” or “Toy Story 4.” Both of these movies have a kid friendly vibe and are both instant classics because if you are a kid watching “The Lion King” for the first time, or an adult going just for the nostalgia and memories from the original movie it’s perfect for almost everyone.

For more mature moviegoers the top movies in the rated R categories would be “John Wick 3: Parabellum” or “It Chapter 2.” Both of these movies are highly ranked at the box office and have more adult content. For more action and adventure you would probably prefer John Wick, but if you like more of a horror movie then “It chapter 2” would be another option.

Although those movies are doing good with money there are also good movies that are based on the reviews. Critic reviewed movies tend not to be as popular to general audiences. According to Rotten Tomatoes the top critic rated movies for 2019 are “Parasite”, “For Sama”, “The Chambermaid”, “The Farewell”, and “Apollo 11”.

So whatever movies you choose to watch there are plenty of options, and lots of great movies. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the magic of the movies.
