As of January 15, McPherson boys Freshman and Varsity basketball is undefeated. They are looking to continue their undefeated record with a three day tournament,  McPherson Invitational for the boys and girls against Shawnee Mission East, Blue Valley West, Derby, Junction City and more.

The season started out on December 4th when McPherson Varsity basketball had their first basketball game against El Dorado. At the end of the away conference game Mac won 56-24, which kicked off the beginning of their undefeated season.

Following Varsity’s lead was the Freshman beating El Dorado 58-38, “The season has went well so far. I really enjoy coaching this group of kids. They work hard in practice everyday and continue to improve” said Treg Fawl, freshman coach.

JV girls are also undefeated, with the JV girls winning their first game versus El Dorado 41-7. “The girls have been working hard, are very coachable, and play as a team.  If they are diligent in giving maximum effort each day in practice to improve in the areas needed, we will build on the success we’ve had so far this season.” said Mike Reith, JV coach.

As of  January 21, 1pm the Bullpups continued their undefeated season with a double overtime against Shawnee Mission East.
