‘Moana’ is a movie about trying to save her island from Te Kā’s darkness. 

A popular Disney movie is coming out with part 2. ‘Moana 2’ is about a calling from her wayfinding ancestors, to reunite with her old friend Maui to explore the long-lost waters. 

This new Disney hit is coming out on Nov. 27, the day before Thanksgiving. 

In ‘Moana 2’ there is a new character, Moana’s little sister named Simea. She is 3.5-years-old and is a ” rambunctious little girl who wants to be just like her older sister,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

Students from Mcpherson High School are ecstatic about this new movie. “I am excited to see the new adventures and Moana’s new baby sister,” said Rebecca Lulloff. 

The first Moana movie was released in 2016, and information was published in February  of this year that there would be a part two. Fans are so over the moon to see this movie and are happy producers have finally listened to them about coming out with a second. 

Students are already planning to go see this popular film. “I am going to watch it in AZ right when it comes out,” said Ashlyn Schroeder.  

After watching the first 30 minutes of ‘Moana 2’ fans love the new soundtrack. ‘Moana’ lovers were scared when they found out ‘Moana 2’ didn’t involve the original artists.
