2,996 people died on 9/11. 

The twin towers fell after al-Qaeda hijacked a plane killing 2,996 people, between floors 93, and 99. The twin towers then caught on fire causing people to start jumping off the very top of the twin towers while people down below watched in horror. As people were running down the stairs offices, fire fighters, and emt’s were rushing up the stairs to help as many people as possible, because people were jumping the police couldn’t stop them from jumping to their death, after mostly everyone jumped down the tower fell.
