Edited design of an eighth note and a trumpet.

As many know, Choir and Band students take part in many contests during the spring semester each year. And each year, many lucky students are chosen to represent MHS and MMS at the Kansas Music Educators Association Conference, which this year, is to be held from February 27th through February 29th!

20 lucky students, 14 from the High School and 7 from the Middle School, were chosen for this year’s conference. For some, this isn’t the first time they’ve been selected.

For Sydney Myers, a senior from Band, this is her 3rd year being chosen for this opportunity. Pierce Hamma, Sophmore in the MHS Choir, is on his 2nd year. Senior, Josie Strathman is on her 3rd, and Senior, Kaliah Tice is on her 2nd.

Congratulations to every artist, vocal and instrumental, who was chosen, and the best of luck to you all at the Conference!
