Bullpup Bowlers have had a tremendous season. With ongoing practice at Starlite Lanes, they are keeping up their title.  “The bowling season has been a struggle as we need to improve on our spares,” Coach Halinski said.

The boys and girls both won against El Dorado on Tuesday, January 29th. The boys were a 2,265-1,979 with Blake Snyder leading them with 574. The girls won with 1,830-1,706 with Heidi Allen leading them with 475.

They also took first place in a triangular on Tuesday, January 14th. The boys got first with 2,562 pins. The girls took second with 2,034, close behind Augusta with 2,235. “Our toughest competitor up to this point will be Salina South, regionals will be tough to win,” said Coach Halinski.

Winning or losing the bowling team doesn’t give up. Sometimes bowling is more than just a sport to some people. “Bowling is like my safe space, when I get stressed out I go bowling, because it gets my anger out,” Haylee Busch.
