Science Olympiad is a competitive competition in science. It consists of freshmen all the way to seniors with around 4 people for each grade. Each team includes 15 members. They will attend a regional competition in Salina in January and hope to qualify for state in April. There are multiple categories from Anatomy to Wind power and many more.

“I like science and I think it is a very fun and educational activity…. plan to do it next year” ”

— Zach Anderson

McPherson’s 2015-2016 team placed 3rd at regionals and went on to state at WSU. Mr.Gerstner hopes this year’s team has fun and learns more about science.

If you are interested in joining just contact Mr.Gerstner or Mrs.Toews. The first meeting is to be announced.
