On October 21st, Panic! At the Disco uploaded a music video for their new song, “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” onto Fueled By Ramen’s Youtube account. This will be the third song from their upcoming album, Death of a Bachelor, that’s been made public. “Hallelujah,”  was released last April, while “Victorious,” came out last month.

The video consists of the ending of a previous song, “This is Gospel,” which debuted in 2013. Brendon Urie, the artist, stars in the video and is the focus of the shifting disposition in the message he’s preaching. From there, it morphs into a much more sinister mood as the actual song begins to play. Directed by Daniel Cloud, this song’s erratic background is less concealed compared to the band’s earlier sounds and videos.

Along with the music video reveal, the release date for Death of a Bachelor has also been confirmed, along with the album’s planned cover art. Featuring 11 songs, it will be available on January 15, 2016 and can be pre-ordered on iTunes now.

“It’s a beginning to a new era. And an homage to how it all began,” Urie, said. “This album is me.”
